Happy Vaisakhi everyone!
Daya-compassion,
Dharam-righteousness,
Himmat-courageous,
Muhkam-determined,
Sahib-majestic.
These are the qualities that make a khalsa. Remember them
… and also,
“Dhoul Dharam Daya Ka Poot - Righteousness is the child of compassion”
… Never forget this. Peace, love and a lot of jalebiya! Have a good one folks.
Today in 1675

Today in 1675, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was martyred for standing up for and freedom of religious expression.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji didn’t agree with the beliefs of Hinduism, but he defended to the death their right to practise the faith peacefully.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji taught us that everyone has a right to live without oppression. As Sikhs It is our duty to help anyone who is oppressed

You don’t have to believe in what the oppressed people believe in. All you have to believe in is peace, equality and freedom for all

Guru Teg Bahadur Ji wasn’t hind di chaddar. He was humanity’s chaddar. . We serve humanity. We live and pray for humanity

Today I wore a pink dastar to work….

Lion cub… Saint and Soldier
